If you've previously ventured into the Duga base to secure the Journalist stash, navigating to this location will be straightforward, as you can use the second entrance.

Accessing the Warehouse Near the Military Unit at Duga Base

Upon entering the Duga base, make your way toward the Military Unit building, which is clearly marked on your map. You don't need to enter the building itself; instead, navigate around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. Exercise caution here, as two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack if they spot you. Carefully approach the greenhouse to avoid a confrontation with these formidable mutants.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in the warehouse. Be prepared, as soon as you step in, you'll be met by swarms of rats that will start to nibble away at your health. To escape these pests, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. A well-placed grenade can effectively clear out the rat swarms.

Breaking the Wooden Boards to Retrieve the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rats, direct your attention to the ceiling above the entryway that connects to the greenhouse. You'll notice wooden boards covered in yellow paint. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to fall from above.

Secure the weapon and make your way out of the Duga base safely. Once you have the Cavalier, you can take it to Screw, the technician at Rostok base, for upgrades.
