Rivals Update 9 Introduces the Gunblade and Bridge Map as Nosniy Prepares to Add Ranked Mode

Roblox's Rivals Update 9 delivers a double dose of excitement with the introduction of the Gunblade weapon and the Bridge map. Developer Nosniy Games announced the additions in today's patch notes, highlighting a smaller update focusing on these key additions rather than extensive tweaks.

The Gunblade, a versatile weapon combining a rifle and a blade, adds a unique tactical element to the gameplay. Its effectiveness is particularly noteworthy on the new Bridge map, a close-quarters combat arena set in Seoul, created by @GreatGuyBoom. This concrete structure, featuring minimal obstacles, promises intense, fast-paced battles.

This update prioritizes the new content, foregoing bug fixes, balance adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements for this release. Minor skin modifications for the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi, along with renaming some Hexxed-themed items to Vexed, are included. However, Nosniy assures players that these elements, along with the highly anticipated Ranked mode, will be addressed in the next major update.

The developers directly addressed player feedback, confirming that all necessary changes and improvements will be implemented before the launch of Ranked.
