Riot Games still wants its MMO, but it is not even close to the finish

Riot Games' co-founder, Marc Merrill, recently shared his vision for the future at the DICE Summit. A significant focus is the upcoming League of Legends and Arcane MMO.

Merrill emphasized his personal passion for the MMO genre and its potential for success, driven by both his dedication and the immense desire among League of Legends fans for deeper immersion within their beloved universe.

While specifics regarding the MMO's release remain undisclosed – Merrill playfully suggested a pre-Mars colonization launch – he confirmed its significant claim on his time and resources. He refrained from offering a concrete release date.

It's important to note that another League of Legends title, the fighting game 2XKO, is also under development. Unlike the MMO, 2XKO boasts trailers and a projected launch date before year's end.
