Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been delayed, but a new release date has finally been confirmed: January 28th, 2025. This launch will bring the relaxing, magical plant-growing experience to both PS4 and PS5 consoles.
Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor first bloomed on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in April 2024, earning widespread praise for its charming atmosphere and clever puzzles. The delay, announced shortly before the original December release, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience.
While the January 28th date is now confirmed, a PS Store page for the game remains absent. Players eager to add Botany Manor to their wishlists will need to wait a little longer. The game is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with its other platform releases, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup
Botany Manor's strong critical reception (an 83 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) positions it perfectly to enrich the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its blend of cozy atmosphere, challenging puzzles, and rewarding exploration has already captivated critics and players alike.
With its arrival on PlayStation, Botany Manor will finally be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project, but January 28th will be a busy day on the PS Store, also seeing the release of Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
