Pokémon TCG: Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Updates!

The Pokémon TCG Pocket app's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues! Part two is now live, offering fresh cosmetic rewards in the in-game shop.

New Blastoise-themed goodies include a player icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat. These items, along with the usual Shinedust exchange option (50 Shinedust per event ticket, up to 1000 Shinedust total), are available until January 28th. However, remember that event tickets stop being awarded on January 22nd, so don't delay!

Following the holiday season's flurry of Pack Hourglasses and free booster packs, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster packs and anticipate the next expansion, rumored for late January. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses are usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

This Blastoise event provides a fresh incentive for daily logins. The first part of the event (January 6th) introduced Squirtle and Charmander promo cards (identical attacks to their standard counterparts, but with unique art). These, along with a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions focusing on Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire and Water-type cards offer more Event Shop Tickets. These missions are cumulative across both event parts, and the Bonus Pick also awards tickets. Daily logins are strongly advised, especially for those aiming to complete their promo card collection, as trading these limited cards may not be possible, according to rumors.
