Pokémon Go’s February 2025 Community Day event will feature Karrablast and Shelmet

Get ready for a double dose of Community Day fun in Pokémon GO! Karrablast and Shelmet will be the stars of the show on Sunday, February 9th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. Expect increased spawns of both Pokémon, with a chance to encounter their Shiny forms!

Catch enough Karrablast and Shelmet during this three-hour event, and you'll be able to evolve them into Escavalier and Accelgor with exclusive Charged Attacks. Escavalier learns Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 in Gyms and Raids), while Accelgor gets Energy Ball (90 power in all battle types).

For an enhanced experience, grab the Community Day Special Research ticket for $2 (or local equivalent). This ticket unlocks encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background, along with extra encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL.

Don't forget the free Timed Research quest available to all players who log in during the event! This offers more chances to catch Karrablast and Shelmet, and boosted Shiny odds. You can also redeem Pokémon Go codes for extra rewards!

Throughout the event, enjoy triple XP and double Candy for catching Pokémon, plus increased Candy XL chances for Trainers level 31 and above. Lure Modules and Incense will last three hours, and trading benefits include an extra Special Trade and 50% reduced Stardust costs.
