Pokémon Center Hiroshima Relocates, Unveils Gyarados Plaza
Pokémon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025, reopening at a new location in April 2025. A new Gyarados Plaza will simultaneously launch in March.
New Location for Pokémon Center Hiroshima
The store's new address will be the second floor of Ekie, Hiroshima Station's north exit. Currently situated on the sixth floor of Sogo Hiroshima's Main Building, the store's relocation marks a significant change after its opening in June 2015.
Gyarados Plaza Opens at Soramoa Plaza
Simultaneously, the "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will debut on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza, located within the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Initially, reservations will be required to access the playground equipment. Details regarding reservations will be available on the official Minamoa website.
Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
Before the closure, participating Pokémon Centers across Japan will host a nationwide event celebrating "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker with a password obtained from a December 19, 2024, "Poke-lun TV" YouTube video.
Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa will feature special photo opportunities with the "Poke-lun TV" hosts. The event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025. This event excludes Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafés, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Café.
