PlayStation Productions Unveils Ambitious Slate of Game Adaptations at CES 2025

PlayStation Productions made a splash at CES 2025, announcing a significant expansion of its video game adaptation projects. The January 7th presentation revealed several new films and a highly anticipated anime series, showcasing the studio's growing commitment to bringing beloved PlayStation franchises to new audiences.

New Adaptations Announced:

• Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Anime Series: A new anime series based on the popular Ghost of Tsushima: Legends multiplayer mode will premiere exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2027. Directed by Takanobu Mizumo, with story composition by Gen Urobuchi, and featuring a soundtrack partnership with Sony Music, this project promises a visually stunning and narratively compelling adaptation.

• Horizon Zero Dawn Film: Sony Pictures will produce a film adaptation of the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn. Details remain scarce, but the announcement generated considerable excitement.
