Unlike the more common Paldium, Dark Fragments are essential for crafting high-tier accessories, making their acquisition a priority for Feybreak explorers.

How to Obtain Dark Fragments in Palworld

To acquire Dark Fragments, hunt Dark-elemental Pals exclusively found on Feybreak Island. This method is ineffective for Dark-elemental Pals in other game regions. Feybreak's coastal Pals are predominantly ground and water types; venture inland to locate Dark-elemental Pals. Note that some, like Starryon, appear primarily at night (unless boss variants).

Capturing or defeating these Pals (using Ultimate or Exotic Spheres is recommended) yields 1-3 Dark Fragments per encounter. Drops aren't guaranteed, but diligent hunting will yield sufficient quantities.
