Earning the Golden Moonlight Skin

The Golden Moonlight skin is unlocked by reaching Gold tier in Competitive mode. Reaching Gold III is sufficient; Gold I or II aren't required. Furthermore, subsequent rank decay to Bronze or lower after achieving Gold will not affect your eligibility.

The game's seasonal rank reset (a seven-tier drop at the end of each season) also doesn't impact eligibility. Even if you start from Bronze after a reset, reaching Gold during that season still unlocks the skin.

When the Skin Appears

Important: The Golden Moonlight skin isn't instantly awarded upon reaching Gold. It's added to your account after the season concludes. Post-season purchase of this skin is unlikely, making competitive performance the only acquisition method.
