Monster Hunter Wilds' phenomenal launch has seen it achieve nearly 1 million concurrent players on Steam, making it the eighth most-played game in Steam history with a staggering 987,482 concurrent users. This surpasses the peak concurrent player counts of major titles like Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy, and Baldur's Gate 3, and significantly outperforms its predecessor, Monster Hunter World, which peaked at 334,684 concurrent players on Steam. The actual peak will likely be even higher, considering that Sony and Microsoft don't publicly release their player numbers.
