Capcom extends the Monster Hunter Wilds beta test by 24 hours following a PlayStation Network outage. The outage, lasting approximately 24 hours starting Friday, February 7th, 3 PM PT, disrupted online gameplay for PlayStation users. Sony attributed the disruption to an "operational issue" and compensated PlayStation Plus subscribers with five extra days of service.

The Monster Hunter Wilds beta, originally scheduled from February 6th to 9th, was significantly impacted. In response to the disruption, Capcom announced a 24-hour extension to the next beta session. This revised schedule runs from Thursday, February 13th, 7 PM PT to Monday, February 17th, 6:59 PM PT (February 14th, 3 AM GMT to February 18th, 2:59 AM GMT).

Capcom confirmed that participation bonuses, redeemable in the full game, remain available during this extended beta period. Despite the previous outage, beta participants had the opportunity to engage with the challenging new monster, Arkveld.

Monster Hunter Wilds officially launches on February 28th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
