Capcom's recent showcase unveiled exciting new details for Monster Hunter Wilds, including an open beta launching next week across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This beta features cross-play functionality!

Open Beta Access:

PS Plus subscribers on PS5 enjoy early access, starting October 28th. Everyone else joins the hunt from October 31st to November 3rd. Pre-downloads begin October 27th (PS Plus) and October 30th (others). Ensure you have at least 18GB of free space.

Open Beta Content:

The beta offers character creation (progress carries over!), a Story Trial (tutorial and Chatacabra fight), and a challenging Doshaguma Hunt (supports multiplayer or NPC hunters).

Beta Rewards: All participants receive exclusive in-game rewards (Palico pendant, Seikret, item pack) available as DLC upon the full game's release on February 28, 2025.

New Trailer Reveals "Black Flame" and Oilwell Basin:

The new trailer showcases the fiery Oilwell Basin, introducing new monsters like the Ajarakan and Rompopolo, and the fearsome apex predator, the Black Flame. We also get a glimpse of the Azuz people and their connection to the Everforge.
