Monopoly drops a new Valentine’s Day themed update with new house rules and a quiz

Get ready for a romantic twist on your favorite digital board game as Valentine’s Day approaches! Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have rolled out an enchanting update for Monopoly on Android and iOS, inviting you to celebrate love with a slew of limited-time features.

This Valentine’s Day event brings a fun quiz that matches you with one of four Monopoly tokens, each symbolizing a unique form of love. After the quiz, enjoy a 24-hour free trial of your matched token, and if you fall in love with it, you can purchase it at a special discounted rate.

But that's not all! The update introduces revamped House Rules designed to speed up the game. With Quick Hotels, you can now build hotels after just three houses instead of the usual four. The Quick End rule concludes the game after the first player goes bankrupt, while Quick Jail lets you escape jail on your first turn. Starting Title Deeds gives every player three random properties right from the start, and you’ll skip tax, Chance, and Community Chest spaces, ensuring a brisk and exciting gameplay experience.

Adding to the festive spirit, a new set of Cupid-inspired tokens will be up for grabs, and the Sweethearts bundle introduces two adorable cherubs ready to join your game this Valentine’s Day.
