HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, has been busy! Their upcoming game, originally titled Astaweave Haven, has received a fresh name: Petit Planet. Even before a proper reveal, the game is undergoing significant changes.
If you're a fan of gacha games or RPGs, you might have already heard whispers of Astaweave Haven. While official information from MiHoYo remains scarce, indications suggest a departure from their typical open-world gacha formula. Instead of another gacha adventure, Petit Planet appears to be leaning towards a life-simulation or management game, reminiscent of titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.
The name change itself is intriguing. "Petit Planet" offers a more charming and approachable feel, hinting at the management sim genre rather than a traditional MiHoYo gacha RPG.
Release Date?
Currently, there's no official launch date. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile in July. The name change to Petit Planet was registered in October, and is now awaiting US and UK approval.
Given MiHoYo's rapid release schedule (consider the quick turnaround between Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero), we can hope that once the new name is approved, a proper unveiling of Petit Planet will follow swiftly.
