NetEase Games has confirmed a robust post-launch content plan for Marvel Rivals, promising a new playable hero every six weeks. This commitment was revealed by Creative Director Guangyun Chen in an interview with Metro. Each three-month season will be split into two halves, with a new hero debuting in each. Beyond new heroes, each season will also feature fresh storylines and maps.

"Every season will bring new seasonal stories, maps, and heroes. We're dividing each season into two halves," Chen explained. "A season lasts three months, and each half will introduce a new hero. Our goal is to continuously enhance the experience and keep the community engaged."

This ambitious schedule raises the question of which Marvel characters will grace the roster next. Season 1: Eternal Night Falls successfully launched with Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman in the first half, followed by The Thing and the Human Torch in the second.
