Ubisoft has officially announced that the acclaimed Japanese actor Mackenyu, renowned for his portrayal of Roronoa Zoro in the popular Netflix adaptation of "One Piece," will join the ensemble cast of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This latest entry in Ubisoft's storied RPG series, set in Feudal Japan, promises a captivating experience.

Mackenyu will voice the character Gennojo in both Japanese and English versions of the game. Ubisoft describes Gennojo as a key figure who aids the protagonist in tracking and eliminating a crucial target.
