Recent events surrounding the viral Skibidi Toilet and the sandbox game Garry's Mod have taken a bizarre turn with a DMCA notice, but a resolution appears to have been reached. Garry Newman, the game's developer, confirmed the matter is settled.

Newman's initial reaction, expressed on a Discord server ("Can you believe the cheek?"), quickly escalated into a viral online controversy. While Newman confirmed the issue's resolution, the identity of the party who sent the DMCA remains undisclosed.
The DMCA targeted "unauthorized Skibidi Toilet Garry's Mod" creations, which, according to the sender, generate substantial revenue. These user-created games feature characters from the Skibidi Toilet web series, including Titan Cameraman, Titan Speakerman, and Titan TV Man – all characters claimed to be under copyright protection by the sender.
