Former key developers from 4A Games have established Reburn Studios and announced their first project, La Quimera:

The startup remains faithful to its expertise, delivering another first-person shooter - this time with dystopian sci-fi elements.

The narrative unfolds in technologically advanced Latin America during a near-future era. Players assume the role of a PMC operative equipped with military exosuits, engaging in intense firefights against local insurgents across diverse environments ranging from dense rainforests to urban megacities.

Developers emphasize a gripping narrative-driven experience offering both single-player immersion and three-player cooperative gameplay.

Notably, creative direction comes from Nicolas Winding Refn (of Drive and The Neon Demon fame) alongside E.J.A. Warren, handling worldbuilding and screenplay.

La Quimera is confirmed for PC release via Steam, though specific launch dates remain unannounced.
