The story follows Odysseus, King of Ithaca, on his arduous ten-year journey home after the Trojan War. While Universal remains tight-lipped on further plot details, rumors suggest an impressive ensemble cast.

Matt Damon, reuniting with Universal after his Oppenheimer success (which garnered seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director), was reportedly the first actor in discussions for the lead role.
