Helldivers 2 “Truth Enforcers” Warbond: New Weapons, Armor, and Cosmetics Arrive October 31st

Arrowhead Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment are releasing the "Truth Enforcers" Warbond, a premium content pack for Helldivers 2, on October 31st, 2024. This isn't just a cosmetic update; it's a major arsenal expansion, allowing players to become Super Earth's elite Truth Enforcers.

The Warbond operates similarly to a battle pass, using earned Medals to unlock items. Unlike typical battle passes, Warbonds are permanent; once purchased (for 1,000 Super Credits via the Acquisitions Center), they’re yours to keep.

The "Truth Enforcers" Warbond focuses on upholding the Ministry of Truth's ideals. Expect powerful new weapons and armor sets:

• PLAS-15 Loyalist Plasma Pistol: A versatile sidearm with semi-auto and charged shot modes.
• SMG-32 Reprimand: A rapid-fire submachine gun perfect for close-quarters combat.
• SG-20 Halt: A shotgun switching between stun and armor-piercing rounds.
• UF-16 Inspector Armor: Sleek, light armor with red accents and the "Proof of Faultless Virtue" cape. Features the Unflinching perk, reducing stagger from hits.
• UF-50 Bloodhound Armor: Medium armor, also with red accents and the "Pride of the Whistleblower" cape, and the Unflinching perk.

The Warbond also includes new banners, cosmetic patterns for hellpods, exosuits, and the Pelican-1, plus a new "At Ease" emote. A standout addition is the "Dead Sprint" booster, allowing continued sprinting and diving even when stamina is depleted (at the cost of health).

Can This Warbond Revive Helldivers 2?

Despite a strong initial launch (peaking at 458,709 concurrent Steam players), Helldivers 2's player base declined after initial account linking issues with PlayStation Network. While the concurrent player count has fluctuated, the "Truth Enforcers" Warbond aims to reignite interest with its substantial content additions.
