Hasbro Launches Star Wars Figures at 2025 Event

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor enthusiasts will be delighted with the new additions to this year's collection. Nightsister Merrin receives her own detailed figure, while protagonist Cal Kestis stars in a three-pack alongside fan-favorite companions Turgle and Skoova Stev. The standout feature? Multiple interchangeable heads for Cal, including one sporting a classic handlebar mustache. Houle revealed this unique styling was intentionally prioritized.

"We approached this with pure creative enjoyment," Houle explained to IGN. "This three-pack became my personal favorite from our panel reveals. We began with the mustache and mullet concept first, then added cleaner variations later. That distinctive look truly captures the spirit we wanted."

The inclusion of Merrin alongside Cal was essential, given her crucial role across both Jedi games. The designers faced particular challenges capturing her mystical Nightsister abilities.

"Merrin completes Cal's story," Reiff noted. "We're thrilled to finally represent her, especially capturing her mystical green Force energy in figure form. The intricate costume details and facial tattoos showcase our advanced printing techniques. She's become such a beloved character that we wanted to do her justice."

Classic Characters Receive Modern Upgrades

The 2025 lineup refreshingly revisits franchise staples Han Solo and Chewbacca with enhanced articulation and detail. Despite numerous previous releases, Houle emphasized there's always room for improvement.

"It's been years since we've tackled these core characters," Houle said. "They deserved comprehensive upgrades with our newest tooling and articulation systems. We've applied everything we've learned from previous Wookiee figures regarding hair and movement."

The designers paid special attention to mobility without compromising visual appeal. "Chewie's softer plastic hair allows natural head movement, while Han's articulation focuses on areas that maintain his iconic pant detailing," Houle added.

Celebration Exclusives Showcase Exceptional Detail

The standout Celebration exclusive celebrates Star Wars: Visions with The Ronin figure, featuring authentic monochromatic styling and a vibrant red lightsaber. The team meticulously crafted every packaging detail.

"We wanted total authenticity," Houle explained. "From Japanese-inspired packaging with hidden magnetic closures to watercolor artwork, every element honors the source material."

Reiff highlighted additional localization efforts: "We specially created Japanese-language packaging just for this exclusive release in Japan, honoring Celebration's host country."

Helmet collectors weren't forgotten either, with the Premium Black Series debuting an incredibly accurate Death Trooper helmet.

"We worked directly with Lucasfilm archives," Reiff said. "Every weathering mark matches screen appearances, complete with functional lighting effects. We even engineered detailed interiors where the original props had none."
