The spooky season is back with a vengeance in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, as the game rolls out its 2024 Halloween update. From October through November, immerse yourself in a Dark Arts celebration filled with eerie events and a complete festive decor transformation.
The moment you step into Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, you’ll be enveloped in the Halloween atmosphere. Diagon Alley and the castle are adorned with spooky decor, and new locations have been added to enhance the festive experience.
In keeping with Hogwarts tradition, a House-themed pumpkin hunt is set to take place, offering magical rewards until October 31st. Additionally, a Creature Expedition is launching, giving you the chance to come face-to-face with the fearsome Acromantula.
Have you unlocked the Swooping Evil yet? This creepy, brain-eating, sting-ray-like creature from Fantastic Beasts has now made its way into the game. A Special Adventure featuring the Swooping Evil is underway, as it has somehow infiltrated Hogwarts Castle. You'll need to help Hagrid catch it before anyone gets hurt.
The Vampire of Hogsmeade introduces a chilling new side quest where vampires lurk near Hogwarts. Professor Dumbledore has declared Hogsmeade off-limits, so you’ll need to unlock the One-Eyed Witch statue to uncover what’s hiding in the fog.
A fresh feature called the Hogwarts Diary is introduced in the Halloween update. By completing puzzles through various in-game activities, you’ll unlock sections of the diary. Each section reveals artwork through magic inkwells, piecing together an overarching story.
Your journey begins with an invitation to join Madam Pince in the library, where you'll embark on a quest to find the Lost Spore Scrolls. These scrolls, belonging to Professor Phyllida Spore, a former Hogwarts headmistress, contain secrets about the school’s magical fungi.
