Arc System Works is revamping Guilty Gear Strive with a dynamic 3v3 Team Mode. Teams of three will battle it out, creating complex strategies and exciting team compositions. Season 4 also welcomes back Dizzy and Venom from Guilty Gear X, alongside a brand-new character, Unika, from the upcoming Guilty Gear -Strive- Dual Rulers anime, and a truly unexpected guest: Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
This blend of returning favorites, new additions, and a unique crossover promises a significant shift in gameplay and appeal for both seasoned veterans and newcomers.
The 3v3 Team Mode is a game-changer. Teams strategize, leveraging character strengths and covering weaknesses. Matches become more tactical, emphasizing smart team compositions and advantageous matchups. Each character also gains a powerful, one-use-per-match "Break-In" special move.
Currently, the 3v3 mode is in Open Beta, offering players a chance to test it and provide feedback.

Season 4's biggest surprise is Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – the first-ever guest character in Guilty Gear Strive! This marks another successful crossover for CD Projekt Red, following Geralt's appearance in Soul Calibur VI. Lucy's cybernetic enhancements and netrunning skills promise a unique and technically-focused fighting style. Look for her in 2025.
