Google Play Store may soon introduce a game-changing feature: automatic app launch upon installation. This potential addition, discovered through APK teardown, could eliminate the extra steps of locating and opening newly downloaded apps.
The Details:
According to Android Authority, the feature, tentatively named "App Auto Open," will be entirely optional. Users can choose whether to enable automatic app launching after installation. The process is straightforward: a notification banner will appear for approximately five seconds upon download completion, potentially accompanied by a sound or vibration alert.
Important Note: This information is based on an APK teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19 and is therefore unofficial. A release date remains unconfirmed. We will provide updates as soon as official information becomes available from Google.
This feature, if implemented, promises a more seamless app installation experience. Stay tuned for further updates! In other news, the Hyper Light Drifter Special Edition has finally arrived on Android.
