Pokémon GO's Steely Resolve Event: Corviknight Arrives!

Pokémon GO players rejoice! The highly anticipated Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight evolutionary line finally debuts in the game on January 21st during the Steely Resolve event. This event, running from 10 AM on January 21st to 8 PM on January 26th (local time), significantly expands the Galar region Pokémon roster.

The arrival was initially hinted at in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, showcasing Rookidee and Corviknight before their official announcement. Now, the wait is over.

The Steely Resolve event is packed with activities:

• New Pokémon: Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight make their Pokémon GO debut.
• Special Research: A new Dual Destiny Special Research questline offers unique rewards.
• Field Research Tasks: Complete tasks for additional in-game items and encounters.
• Shiny Pokémon: Increased chances to encounter shiny versions of various Pokémon, including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and more.
• Bonuses: Magnetic Lure Modules attract specific Pokémon like Onix and Beldum; Charged TMs can help Shadow Pokémon forget Frustration. Increased spawns of ten Pokémon, including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and Carbink.

GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st – 26th):

• Bonuses: 4x Stardust from win rewards, increased daily battle sets (20 sets, 100 battles), free battle-themed Timed Research with Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes, and varied stats for Pokémon encountered through GO Battle League.

The Steely Resolve event is just one highlight in a busy start to the year for Pokémon GO. Shadow Raids featuring Shadow Ho-Oh and Dynamax Raids with the Kanto Legendary Birds are also on the horizon, alongside the return of the Community Day Classic.
