Free Fire's Winterlands: Aurora Festival Returns!
Free Fire is celebrating the holidays with the return of its Winterlands festival, featuring a dazzling Aurora theme. This year's event brings exciting new additions, including the tactical character Koda, frosty tracks for speedy traversal, and an Aurora Forecast system that impacts gameplay.
Meet Koda: The Arctic Mastermind
Koda, a new character hailing from a technologically advanced arctic region, possesses the unique ability "Aurora Vision." This skill grants him increased movement speed and allows him to spot enemies hidden behind cover, even providing a preview of enemy locations while parachuting. His backstory reveals a mystical connection to snow foxes, discovered as a child under an aurora's glow.
Aurora-Infused Gameplay
The Aurora theme permeates the game, transforming Bermuda into a winter wonderland with an aurora-filled sky. The new Aurora Forecast system dynamically alters gameplay, providing buffs based on the predicted aurora activity, adding an element of strategic unpredictability.
Frosty Tracks: A New Way to Travel
Frosty tracks, icy paths perfect for skating, have been added to both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. Players can swiftly navigate key locations like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory in Bermuda, maintaining their combat readiness while on the move. Special Coin Machines along these tracks offer rewards of 100 FF Coins. Clash Squad players will find similar frosty highways in areas such as Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar.

More Aurora Events and Friend Challenges
Battle Royale players can discover aurora-enhanced Coin Machines, while Clash Squad players can find aurorically charged Supply Gadgets. Interacting with these elements completes event quests and unlocks buffs. A fun social element lets players see their squadmates represented as snowballs on the event interface, completing friend-specific tasks to unlock rewards such as an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
