Fortnite is gearing up for a visit from several artists and performers, with the highly anticipated arrival of Vocaloid Hatsune Miku on the horizon. Recent social media interactions have generated considerable buzz among players.

The official Fortnite Festival account playfully claimed possession of Miku's backpack, while Hatsune Miku's account conversely reported the backpack missing, prompting a humorous search. Beyond a standard Miku skin and a virtual concert, leaks suggest the addition of a unique pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant.

The launch is expected on January 14th.

Separately, a reminder about fair play: In late December, professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo was accused of using cheat software, specifically aimbot and wallhacks, to gain an unfair advantage and win thousands of dollars in prize money. Epic Games alleges this gave Araujo an insurmountable lead over legitimate competitors. The lawsuit claims Araujo's actions deprived other players of a fair chance to win.
