FIFA Is Teaming Up With Konami's eFootball For FIFAe World Cup 2024!

Konami and FIFA's esports collaboration: a surprising partnership! After years of competition between FIFA and PES, this crossover is unexpected. The FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024 will utilize Konami's eFootball platform.

In-Game Qualifiers on eFootball Are Live!

The tournament features Console (PS4 & PS5) and Mobile divisions. Eighteen countries are eligible for the final rounds: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.

In-game qualifiers run October 10th-20th (three rounds). National Nomination Phases follow from October 28th to November 3rd.

The offline final round will conclude in late 2024 (exact date unannounced). Even if your country isn't among the 18, you can participate in qualifiers through Round 3 for rewards (50 eFootball coins, 30,000 XP, etc.).

The Unexpected FIFA x Konami Partnership

This collaboration is ironic given their past rivalry. EA and FIFA ended their decade-long partnership in 2022 due to a disagreement over licensing fees (FIFA reportedly demanded $1 billion every four years, a significant increase from the previous $150 million). This led to the release of EA Sports FC 24 without the FIFA branding. Now, FIFA has partnered with Konami's eFootball for the 2024 World Cup.
