Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!

Final Fantasy XIV players with inactive accounts have another chance to return to Eorzea! Square Enix has reinstated its Free Login Campaign, offering four consecutive days of free gameplay until February 6th, 2025. This campaign is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

This generous offer follows the recent release of Patch 7.15, which included new side quests within the Dawntrail expansion, notably the return of the Hildibrand quests and a fresh Custom Delivery client. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's New Year's message further fueled anticipation, confirming the arrival of Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025, alongside smaller updates and a cryptic hint regarding Dawntrail's storyline.

The Free Login Campaign, starting January 9th, 3:00 AM Eastern Time, and ending February 6th, 9:59 AM Eastern Time, provides a perfect opportunity for lapsed players to rejoin the adventure. The 96-hour playtime timer begins upon logging into the game launcher.

Eligibility requires a purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account, inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign's start. Accounts suspended or cancelled due to Terms of Service violations are ineligible. Square Enix encourages players to verify their eligibility via the Mog Station.

While enjoying the free playtime, players can participate in the Heavensturn event (until January 16th) for a special minion reward, and look forward to Patch 7.16 on January 21st, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest side series. This free period allows players to catch up on Dawntrail's story before the release of Patch 7.2. The future of Dawntrail in 2025 remains shrouded in mystery, promising exciting developments to come.
