Dredge\'s mobile port delayed until next year but a closed beta test is planned for December

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!

Fans of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will have to wait a little longer for the mobile version. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in the eerie town of Greater Marrow. What begins as simple fishing quickly descends into a terrifying journey filled with strange sea creatures, mysterious beings, and the unsettling threat of madness. The unsettling mysteries of a nearby island add another layer of chilling intrigue.

Interested in participating in the closed beta? Sign up via this Google form. While the delay is unfortunate, the numerous awards and critical acclaim Dredge has already received suggest the wait will be worthwhile.

A Challenging Port

Having played the PC version, the delay is understandable. Porting such a large and detailed world to mobile is a significant undertaking. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback before the official launch. This ensures a smoother and more enjoyable mobile experience.
