What's New in Season 4?

This season introduces a snowy tundra environment teeming with exciting additions:

• New Monsters: Face off against Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the formidable Tigrex, making their Monster Hunter Now debut. Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also make appearances. Tigrex will be a key opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the wild. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests within the Season 4 story chapters. Unlocking the tundra itself requires completing the prologue.

• New Weapon: The Switch Axe: This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds. Utilize powerful, far-reaching Axe Mode strikes, then seamlessly transition to the brutal, close-quarters combat of Sword Mode. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.

• Palico Companions: Customize your very own Palico companion! Adjust fur color, facial features, and give your loyal friend a unique name. AR functionality lets you bring your Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.

• Friend Cheering: Add a touch of camaraderie to your hunts with the new Friend Cheering feature. Send cheers to your friends for a temporary health boost (with a daily limit).
