A potential leak from GameStop suggests an upcoming Digimon game, Digimon Story: Time Stranger, may be revealed during tonight's PlayStation State of Play. Gematsu uncovered pre-order listings for the game on GameStop's website for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, although details remain scarce.

The leak's timing, just hours before Sony's 40-minute State of Play presentation, strongly hints at an official announcement. While Sony hasn't confirmed the game's inclusion, the possibility is significant, given the pre-order listings' sudden appearance.

The Digimon Story series boasts a long history, originating with the Nintendo DS title in the mid-2000s. Subsequent releases spanned various platforms, including Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth (2015), Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (2017), and a Complete Edition encompassing both in 2019. These games typically feature RPG gameplay, focusing on befriending and battling Digimon.
