Three years after the successful launch of It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios released a substantial patch for their acclaimed cooperative adventure in May. A comprehensive list of updates was shared on Steam. A noteworthy change is the game's enhanced integration with the Steam platform. It no longer requires the EA launcher, offering improved accessibility and full compatibility with the Steam Deck.

Players can now seamlessly connect with their Steam friends via in-game invites, and Steam Family Sharing is fully supported. While an EA account remains necessary for connecting to EA servers, local play via Steam Remote Play no longer requires one.
