Firaxis Games Unveils Post-Launch Roadmap for Civilization VII

Firaxis Games recently detailed the post-launch roadmap for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII during a livestream event. The roadmap outlines substantial updates planned for 2025, including several DLC packs and free content updates.

Paid DLC will arrive in two parts, collectively titled the Crossroads of the World Collection. Part one, launching in early March, features Leader Ada Lovelace, four Natural Wonders, and the Carthage and Great Britain civilizations. Part two, arriving in late March, includes Leader Simon Bolivar and the Bulgaria and Nepal civilizations. Free content updates, including new Natural Wonder events and Wonders themselves (Battle event and Bermuda Triangle in early March; Marvelous Mountains event and Mount Everest in late March), are also scheduled for March.

Further paid content, the Right Rule Collection, is slated for release this summer, adding two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four New World Wonders. Additional free content and updates are planned for the period between April and September. Firaxis promises continued post-launch support from October 2025 onward. Specific release dates for all announced content remain unannounced.
