Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy utilizes the Hydro Traveler, often considered a weak DPS character, to dramatically reduce enemy health.

The method involves a clever interaction between the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and the Xiao Lanterns obtainable during the Lantern Rite Festival. By strategically placing a large number of Xiao Lanterns near a boss and activating the Elemental Burst, players trigger a significant increase in AoE damage. This amplified damage, reaching millions with a sufficient number of lanterns, rapidly depletes the boss's health bar.

While this exploit's mechanics aren't fully understood without delving into the game's code, the effect is undeniable.
