New BrownDust Update: Hot Spring Training with Story

Neowiz and Gamfs N have released the first content update for BrownDust2 since its 1.5-year anniversary celebration in December. Dubbed "Onsen Training," this update introduces a sizzling new adventure.

This Japanese-themed hot spring event features sword-fighting battles and challenging gameplay, with a dash of monkey-related mayhem.

BrownDust2's Onsen Training: A Deep Dive

The update includes three new characters: Ventana (the main protagonist, available via pickup draw), Liberta (also available via pickup draw), and Blade (story-exclusive).

The Onsen Training event story unfolds within the same universe as BrownDust2's Character Pack 1: Jayden's Gate, offering 30 battles across 15 normal and 15 challenge modes. The narrative follows Ventana, a Kendo Club captain seeking to regain her honor after a defeat. Her training at a snowy mountain hot spring is disrupted by mischievous monkeys, leading to encounters with Blade, a legendary Kendo Club graduate, and Liberta, the hot spring manager.

A New Mini-Game: Onsen Tile Tactics

This time-based tile-clearing mini-game adds another layer of challenge. The event story is divided into three phases:

• Week 1: Legendary Graduate: Featuring the return of Giant Rou, the Fiend Hunter boss.
