With the release of Black Myth: Wukong less than a week away (August 20th), leaked gameplay footage has begun circulating online. The hashtag "#BlackMythWukongLeak" reportedly trended on Weibo following the appearance of videos showcasing unreleased game content.

In response, producer Feng Ji issued a plea to fans on Weibo, urging them to refrain from viewing or sharing leaked material. He emphasized that spoilers diminish the game's core appeal – the joy of discovery and immersive role-playing. The game's magic, he explained, lies in the player's "curiosity."

Feng directly appealed to players to protect the experience for others, stating, "If a friend tells you they don't want spoilers, please help them avoid them." He expressed confidence that even those who have seen leaked content will still find Black Myth: Wukong's unique experience rewarding.
