BioWare has seemingly abandoned plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard downloadable content (DLC). However, creative director John Epler hinted at the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection.
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed it won't develop any DLC for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, considering the game "complete." With the Veilguard launch behind them, BioWare's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect title.
While details regarding potential Veilguard DLC remain scarce, Epler addressed fan speculation about a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He expressed enthusiasm for the idea but acknowledged the significant challenges involved, primarily due to the proprietary EA game engines used in the original Dragon Age trilogy. Epler concluded, "It’s not as straightforward as Mass Effect was, but we cherish the original games. Never say never."
