• The Story

The tale begins in a forest near the Riders' village. Three young friends—the hero, Lilia, and Cheval—find a mysterious glowing egg.

The trio playfully mimic the Rite of Kinship, and are utterly shocked when the ritual actually works!

The egg hatches, revealing a baby Rathalos, a flying wyvern known as “the King of the Skies.” They lovingly name him “Ratha” and bring him home.

Days later, the village is suddenly attacked by a monster corrupted by “the Black Blight.” They fight it off, but not before it ravages the town, leaving lasting emotional scars on Cheval and Lilia.

A year passes...

The hero receives a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, officially becoming a Rider. Cheval and Lilia depart the village on their own separate paths. Now separated from childhood friends, the hero teams up with the cheerful Navirou to embark on a grand new adventure in the world of hunters.

A story of friendship and victory awaits—ride forth into the world of Monster Hunter Stories!

Due to changes in Google Play Games, the Network Battle function was discontinued as of March 31, 2020. However, after updating to Ver.1.0.2, all Titles earned from Battle Ranks become accessible.
