The Guardians of the Road initiative has been revitalized with a new application, delivering a smoother and more user-friendly experience.
Join the Road Guard movement and help save lives!
Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project aims to boost awareness and encourage safer, more responsible driving. Starting January 1, 2023, it is managed by the "Safe Path" association.
Anyone aged 18 and above can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations.
Using the app is quick and simple—just activate it before you start driving. When you witness a traffic offense, trigger the reporting feature either by voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then start recording and documenting the incident.
All reports are sent to a control center run by experienced volunteer traffic controllers. After review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the documented individual, including a link to video evidence of the violation. For life-threatening offenses, the report is escalated to the police for further action.
