Zenless Zone Zero Confirms January 22 Launch for Major Version 1.5 Update

HoYoverse announces the highly anticipated Version 1.5 update for Zenless Zone Zero, scheduled for release on January 22. The update introduces two new S-Rank Agents - support character Astra Yao and fire attacker Evelyn Chevalier - alongside fresh game modes and system improvements.

New Character Lineup Revealed

The first phase debuts Astra Yao, an Ether Support specialist joining the rare Ether-based agent roster alongside Nicole and Zhu Yuan. Players can also obtain her signature W-Engine, Elegant Vanity, during this limited-time banner.

Phase 2 launches February 12 featuring Evelyn Chevalier, Astra's Fire-attuned bodyguard, complete with her exclusive W-Engine Heartstring Nocturne.

Expanded Content and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Version 1.5 continues the narrative following Version 1.4's conclusion of the main story arc. Players can expect:

• Enhanced Hollow Zero phase: Cleanse Calamity
• Mach 25 arcade minigame addition

Banner Reruns Implemented

Addressing community requests, Version 1.5 introduces rotating banner reruns similar to HoYoverse's other titles. Phase 1 features Ellen Joe's return alongside her signature equipment, while Phase 2 brings back Qingyi with her associated W-Engine.

The update follows Version 1.4's successful introduction of fan-favorite character Hoshimi Miyabi, continuing HoYoverse's commitment to regular content expansions for its urban fantasy action RPG.
