Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are not only simple but also incredibly rewarding, offering valuable resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how these puzzles work, their locations, and how to master them.

Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

To restore Morph Paintings, your task is to locate and correctly place the paintings on their designated pedestals. Each pedestal comes with a description that you need to match with the corresponding portrait. Utilize your Levitator utility to return the painting to its rightful spot. The game will typically switch to the Levitator automatically, but if it doesn’t, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab/D-Pad Left.

Currently, there are two such paintings in the game, linked to the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

As part of the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, players will navigate through the three towers at Thorncrown in Thessaleo Falls. Resounding Rise hosts a Morph Painting puzzle that you can solve by following these steps, using the central large painting as your guide:

• Swap the paintings located at the front-left and back-right positions.
• Move the painting positioned behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
• Shift the painting found behind the chairs on the right to the front-right position.

Upon solving the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the quest seamlessly.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

The Trials of Old quest requires you to tackle four distinct trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, you'll encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. Your goal is to arrange the paintings on the pedestals to narrate a coherent story from left to right. The solution is illustrated in the image provided.

A helpful tip to ensure you're placing the correct Morph Painting on the right pedestal is to observe whether the painting frame illuminates upon insertion. This visual cue allows you to bypass the puzzle's mechanics efficiently.
