Wuthering Waves' first anniversary approaches
An upcoming livestream will unveil new event details and showcase a Cyberpunk collaboration
Mark your calendars for the April 19th presentation
In just under a year since its debut, Kuro Games' Wuthering Waves has established itself as a standout in the action RPG genre. With its first anniversary drawing near, exciting celebrations are planned, including a major crossover event.
The anniversary livestream on April 19th via YouTube will feature reveals about the anticipated new character Zai, special anniversary events, and other surprises. Most notably, it will offer the first look at Wuthering Waves' collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
As the acclaimed anime adaptation of CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 (itself based on Mike Pondsmith's groundbreaking tabletop RPG), Cyberpunk: Edgerunners needs little introduction. While exact details remain under wraps, expectations include themed cosmetics, special in-game activities, and potential crossover characters.

With version 2.3 launching on April 29th, even players less interested in collaborations will find plenty to anticipate regarding anniversary content. The previously released trailer (shown above) hints at lighthearted, self-aware humor in the upcoming celebrations.
The preview showcases the main cast transformed into geometric cubes, teasing a showdown between "Justice Cubes" and the "Evil Cube." For those intrigued by this unusual premise, the livestream will provide all the answers - or stay tuned for our complete coverage.
