A Call of Duty: Warzone player has discovered an exciting glitch that allows users to apply camos from 2023's Modern Warfare 3 onto weapons from Black Ops 6. While Modern Warfare 3's weapons are still available in Call of Duty: Warzone, many of the game's meta weapons now come from Treyarch Studios' latest title, Black Ops 6. This shift means that the hard-earned camos from MW3 are no longer usable, leaving players frustrated.
In Call of Duty games, players often grind for epic mastery camos, which are earned through in-game challenges without additional purchases. Achieving one hundred headshots and unlocking gold, diamond, and dark spine camos on numerous weapons can lead to the coveted dark matter camo. However, with the release of Black Ops 6, these MW3 camos became obsolete in Warzone. A new glitch, however, might change that.
Call of Duty: Warzone Player Discovers New Camo Glitch
For those who have earned various weapon camos in Modern Warfare 3, there's now a way to equip them on Black Ops 6 weapons within Warzone. The process requires assistance from a friend and cannot be done solo. Here’s how to execute the glitch:
Once these steps are completed, the MW3 camo should appear on the BO6 weapon.
For players who prefer to use Black Ops 6 camos and are still working on unlocking mastery camos, there's good news. Treyarch has confirmed they are developing a new challenge tracking feature for Black Ops 6. This feature, previously available in Modern Warfare 3, was missed in the latest title but will return in a future update.
