RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev’s Diary for April, introducing the latest update titled "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly." This new quest is available from today until April 28th and promises an intense adventure as players navigate the Shifting Tombs and work to alter the desert’s fate alongside Leela and Ozan.
Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape
The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating, with Menaphos descending into chaos. The plot thickens when Osman betrays his people, causing the city to crumble from within. The populace is divided, and the ominous presence of Amascut lurks in the shadows, signaling even greater dangers ahead. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is merely the beginning of the challenges players will face.
You won’t be tackling these trials alone. Leela is back in action, and new allies, including some intriguing pets, join the fray. Together, you'll delve into the ancient mysteries of Menaphos and unravel Osman's true intentions.
Heading Back into the Heat Again
Completing the Pharaoh’s Folly quest comes with rewarding benefits. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, achieve the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and acquire a new item called Leela’s Favour bracelet. This bracelet allows teleportation to all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.
Participating in the Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly quest requires more than just stepping out of Lumbridge. Players must have a Slayer level of 87, have completed the first quest "Beneath Scabaras’ Sands," and fulfilled specific requirements from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, certain structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline must be built. Once these criteria are met, players can meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and begin their mission to save the city from the brink of collapse. If you're ready to embark on this adventure, download RuneScape from the Google Play Store and return to the desert!
