Strengthen Bonds with The Latest Beloved Buddies Event in Pokémon GO

Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! The Beloved Buddies event is almost here, bringing with it exciting debuts, boosted rewards, and challenging raids. This event focuses on strengthening your bond with your Pokémon, and it's packed with opportunities to do just that.

When Does the Beloved Buddies Event Start?

Mark your calendars! The Beloved Buddies event runs from February 11th to February 15th.

A New Pokémon Arrives!

Prepare to welcome Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokémon, to your collection! This will be its very first appearance in Pokémon GO, and you'll have the chance to catch it in raids.

Event Bonuses:

This event is all about maximizing your gains. Catching Pokémon will award double XP, and Lure Modules will be extended to a full hour. These extended Lures will attract a variety of Pokémon, including Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catch any of these Pokémon and you'll also receive an extra 500 Stardust per catch!

Increased Wild Pokémon Encounters:

Several Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of a lucky encounter. Keep an eye out for Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce, which will have increased spawn rates. Other Pokémon appearing more often include Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.

Raid Battles:

Get ready for a diverse range of raid challenges! One-star raids will feature Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp (with an increased shiny rate for Skrelp). Three-star raids will offer battles against Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise. Five-star raids will feature Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), and Mega Raids will bring the formidable Mega Tyranitar.
