A single glance at the renowned Elden Ring player, Let Me Solo Her, is enough to awe even the mightiest Tarnished, yet he faced a grueling challenge against Bloodborne's notorious Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her gained fame in the Elden Ring community in April 2022, emerging as a loincloth-clad, jar-headed savior who aided countless players battling the RPG’s infamous optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
By his own account, he has logged over 1,200 hours and clashed with Malenia thousands of times. His feats earned him iconic status in the Elden Ring community, prompting FromSoftware to gift him a real sword in honor of his achievements.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared that after acquiring a PS5 to join the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, he finally delved into the fan-favorite Bloodborne. Even as a FromSoftware veteran, he found some of Bloodborne's most brutal boss fights challenging.
Adjusting to the lower framerate — Elden Ring runs at 60 frames per second (fps), while Bloodborne is capped at 30 fps — the oppressive atmosphere, and an early death to the clinic’s werewolf (a rite of passage), Let Me Solo Her chronicled his full Bloodborne journey, including its DLC.
"At last, I faced the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with a DLC has a final boss that feels overwhelmingly formidable," he said. "We had Promised Consort Radahn for Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael for Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss for Dark Souls 1. For Bloodborne, that boss was Orphan of Kos.
"This fight demanded more attempts than any other boss I’ve faced, even driving me to explore Chalice Dungeons off-stream to stock up on Blood Vials and bullets," Let Me Solo Her noted (thanks, GamesRadar+). "He’s undoubtedly Bloodborne’s toughest boss for me."
