Sky: Children of the Light kicks off the Season of Radiance to usher in 2025 with a splash of colour

Sky: Children of the Light is brightening up 2025 with its vibrant new Season of Radiance update! This major update introduces exciting new content, most notably a Dye Workshop, allowing players to customize their cosmetic items with a wide array of colors.

Thatgamecompany's all-ages MMO is getting a much-requested feature: the ability to add color! The Season of Radiance delivers on this front in a big way.

Central to this update is the Dye Workshop, located in the Aviary Village. The Radiance Guide will walk you through the process of dyeing cosmetics, offering a truly personalized aesthetic experience.

But it's more than just applying color. Players will need to harvest new Dark Plants scattered throughout the kingdom to create dyes, and can even mix them to achieve unique shades. A fresh batch of cosmetics – hairstyles, capes, outfits, and more – provide ample canvases for your creative dyeing experiments.

A Technicolor Dream

The Season of Radiance begins January 20th. While the addition of a dye system might seem overdue, it promises to inject a new level of fun and personalization for both veteran and new players.
