EA has finally unveiled Battlefield Studios and given us our first glimpse into the eagerly anticipated next installment of the *Battlefield* series. For those eager to influence the franchise's future, you can join Battlefield Labs and secure early access to *Battlefield 6*. Here's how you can get involved.
To gather crucial feedback for the upcoming *Battlefield* game, EA has introduced Battlefield Labs. This innovative program invites a select group of fans to "step inside the war room" and actively participate in shaping the game's development. Those chosen for the Battlefield Labs will have the chance to engage in early remote playtests and provide direct feedback to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios.
Initially, the program will launch with a few thousand players in Europe and North America, with intentions to expand to other regions and involve tens of thousands of players eventually. Battlefield Labs will be accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, ensuring a broad range of participants can contribute.
Unlike previous *Battlefield* Betas, which offered a glimpse of nearly finished content, Battlefield Labs will feature work-in-progress material. Participants should expect more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than typical in a Beta. The purpose of Battlefield Labs is to collect essential feedback on aspects like the combat loop, map flow, and balance, helping to steer the direction of the next *Battlefield* game. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and are prohibited from sharing any information publicly.
To join Battlefield Labs and potentially play *Battlefield 6* early, head over to the Battlefield Labs webpage. Here, you can learn more about the program and sign up for a chance to participate. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it with your preferred gaming platform, and sign in. Be prepared for possible queues on the EA website, and make sure to check back regularly as you'll have just 15 minutes to enter once it's your turn.
Once you gain access to the sign-up process, complete the necessary information and register your email address. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, which will include details on playtests if you're selected.
EA has scheduled the release of the next *Battlefield* game for their fiscal year 2026, which means *Battlefield 6* is expected to launch before April 1, 2026.
